From a House to a Home

Landscaping properly done can personalize new construction, helping a house to become a home. Here is an example. As usual, click on any photo for a closer look.

We began this project with a scene like this: the flat, clay soil typical of the eastern edge of the Piedmont of North Carolina.

But with the help of lush, new sod and a panoply of plant material – from Maples to Crape Myrtles to Arborvitae and Hydrangeas, all in beds of Dark Walnut Designer mulch – we transformed that red clay look into this:

But that is just the front. Here are views of the sides and rear of the property.

We topped off our work with strategically placed night lighting and a comprehensive Rainbird Irrigation System.
