Pruning at Eaton’s Crossing

Our guys were out in force last week on a big job: pruning the large, stately evergreens at the entrance of Eaton’s Crossing.

The 28 Green Giant Arborvitaes and 21 Leyland Cypresses required about all the tools we have for this sort of work — an aerial lift, pole saw, chain saw, and extended gas pruners.

Because when we say large evergreens, we mean LARGE EVERGREENS …

We highly recommend appropriate pruning to all our customers. It removes dead, damaged, or diseased wood, minimizing pestilence and maximizing light penetration. It also corrects weak branch angles, and stimulates the tree to direct its energy towards healthy blooms and branch growth. And it restricts a tree or plant to a desired height and breadth, enhancing the esthetics and preventing unhealthy overcrowding.

But there is also the question of timing & method. Each plant species has its own preferred pruning season and its own appropriate pruning technique to bring out the best in the plant. As such, pruning is as much an art as it is a science.

All of which means that perhaps you should contact us for the professional experience and expertise in pruning and other maintenance tasks that we can provide. We’re here to help!
