Hardscape design is one of our specialties. Each yard is different as to topography and slope and each homeowner has their own special purpose for an adjunct to their homes. As a result, designs of patios, steps, and retaining walls are as varied as the properties themselves. Based on discussions with the owners, we prepare a proposal and furnish complete site plans for the work to be performed, including site elevations and details like plant specifications. Here for example is some of our recent work.
From these detailed specs, Belgard can produce an as-built rendering of the improvements – which can help the customer get a real sense of the look and feel of our proposed work.
But design work doesn’t just involve simple patios, walkways, and retaining walls. As we have posted elsewhere, we can incorporate major appliances and utilities into a patio to produce what we call Outdoor Living Spaces. Full kitchens, wet bars, even big screen TV’s and fireplaces can be included within an elegant stone paver patio framework to create a space that is as useful as it is beautiful.
