You saw this project when it began with this circular patio. The rest of the project included an 18′ x 50′ patio along the back screen porch, connecting to the lakeside boat house by a 110′ walkway.
Grading and preparation of the ground was a large task. But of equal moment was that the design of the patio had to be curved, not only for esthetic reasons, but also to accommodate the existing Compacta holly hedges.
The patio was made with Smokey Mountain Urbana stone, matching the lake access walkway, and coupled with a 90′ long Avondale Ashlar Tandem wall and four 6′ wide steps guarded on either side by 36″ tall Avondale columns.
Note that the columns needed to match our customer’s existing columns at the front of the house.
Here is a close up of the stone paver steps leading down to the Lake access walkway.
And here are some wide views of the lake access walkway leading through the Ardennes Grey paver circular patio to the boathouse.
We also spread some gravel, rock, seed & straw, to clean up our work area.
Fini!
