Room to Grow

Now that Spring is springing, your plants need room to grow. And that’s one of the reasons our crews have been actively engaged around the Lake pruning everything they can. Pruning eliminates dead or waste material but also clears valuable space for new growth.

From the archive, here is a look back a few years at some stately crape myrtles gracing a driveway that our crews pruned back to about 8 feet …


… and here’s that same driveway some five years later. These crapes are a beautiful complement to an extended entranceway. The striking thing is not just the size – close to 20-25 feet – but the uniformity of growth and spread. That’s what proper pruning can do.
