Edge or edging is a landscape term of art referring to the transition area between different areas of your yard and garden. A good edge can lend texture and definition to a yardscape plan.
Mulch laid tight in planting beds can be a primary tool for creating a clean definite edge, and is a favorite technique for many of our customers. Here, for instance, our crews used Dark Walnut Designer Mulch and NC Long Leaf Pine Needles to edge the various planting beds, producing a nice juxtaposition with not only the lawn, but drainage rip rap and the driveway.
