Paver patios & walkways; plant beds and plants; and an irrigation system to nourish it all – that’s what this customer wanted. And Ben’s Creek delivered. We include some before photos below to give you a sense of our crew’s achievements.
The irrigation system is a Rainbird ESP 9 zone irrigation system providing fully automated coverage to the turf areas and ornamental plants.

Irrigation fully installed, our guys cleaned up the front yard with grading, fill dirt, pine straw mulch, and new seed.

The planting beds were mulched with 20 tons of 1-3″ tan/grey/white washed river rock. This was especially important on the sides of the house to minimize bed erosion on the downward slopes.
We installed an array of plants around the property, including Kaleidoscope Abelia, Nellie Stevens Hollies, Podocarpus, Chindo Viburnum, Ruby Dwarf Burgundy Lorepetalum, Camellia Sasanqua (24″), and Ruby Dwarf Burgundy Lorepetalum, among others.
The walkways are 4′ wide Techo-Bloc Shale Grey Slate textured Eva paver sidewalks with Dark Grey Blue 60 border, complimenting the tan/grey/white shading of the river rock mulch.

The Lake side patio matches the walkways with Techo-Bloc Shale Grey Slate textured Eva pavers and a Dark Grey Blue 60 border. It is supported by 6″ tall by 18′ long Techo-Bloc Sandlewood Brandon retaining wall along the side and Lake side of the patio. The rectangular gas fire pit is a Techo-Bloc Chestnut Brown Brandon design.

The Lake access walkway matches the patio and contains Belgard Dark Grey Solid Slab Steps to transition between the Lake-side existing retaining walls, connecting the upper turf area to the lower lakefront areas.

We graded the lakefront areas and put down fescue sod and pine straw mulch. First, a before photo.

And here’s what our guys did with all that.

We sculped out the existing soil and rock on the side line of the property, lined the swale with erosion control fabric, and covered with an erosion defying 24 tons of 6-12″ white/grey /tan washed river rock.

Amazing work – thanks, Guys!
