Ben’s Creek Nursery can design, source, and install a landscape and garden plan with decorative plants and specimen trees, as well as popular varieties of trees, plants, and shrubs for screenage, property line definition, shade, design emphasis, and overall esthetic satisfaction.
All materials are, of course, subject to market and seasonal inventory variations. But if it is available out there, we can get it for you! Click on any photo for plant identification.
Here are some examples from our archive of unique, decorative plants you might consider for your garden.

A specimen plant is a single variety that is intentionally placed to be a visual highlight or serves as a striking focal point. A specimen can be any variety or cultivar of trees, plants, or shrubs, but a popular choice are Crape Myrtles.
Crapes are valued for many things, their vivid blooms, striking bark presentation, and/or spring and fall leaf colors. Or maybe people are just attracted to the whimsical names, such as Natchez, Tonto, and Muskogee.

Beyond decorative and specimens, here are some popular plants you might like that we installed in one of our projects.
Along the foundation are Emerald Arborvitae, a Sangu Kaku Green Japanese Maple centered on the arched window, Pyramidal Steeds Hollies under the arched window, Moonlight Lace Viburnum left of the front door, August Beauty Gardenia left and right of the front door steps, Sunshine Ligustrum on the front right foundation wall, and a Nellie R. Stevens Hollies at the corner. Interspersed along the front of these beds are Dwarf Burgundy Lorepetalum, Kaleidoscope Abelia, and Golden Nandina.
