Fall installations continue around the Lake. Although installations of new plant material can be done year-round, Fall is particularly favored because the cooler weather induces plants into dormancy. This in turn greatly reduces transplant shock.
Here is a complete design and install project we did at the beginning of the season.

Our first order of business was two stone entrance columns, guarding the drive. These columns are Timberline Highland stone with dark grey caps. We also cleaned out the area up to the hedge and covered it with washed river rock.

In this new garden bed, we installed two pink Crape Myrtles, Sunshine Ligustrum, Duke Garden Yews, Kaleidoscope Abelias, and the ever-popular decorative rocks, all set in Dark Walnut Shredded mulch.

We edged these foundation beds with some 64 feet linear feet of Champlain Grey Pietra stone and installed two striking Spiral Topiary, Vintage Jade Distyllium, Cleyera, and Hydrangea.

Continuing the foundation plantings, you see here Gardenias, Drift Roses, Dwarf Burgundy Loropetalim, and a Japanese Maple.

The side yard natural area cleaned up nicely with multiple bales of pine needles.

This brings us back to the front yard Crape Myrtle.
Beautiful property, beautiful work.
