Ben’s Creek Nursery was a gold sponsor of this awesome community event remembering Ryan Barrett – the 2025 Ryan Barrett Memorial Golf Tournament, held at the prestigious Chockoyotte Country Club, in Weldon, NC this past weekend.
Ben’s Creek sent its A-Team, lead by Brock “Pipeline” Lilly under the tutelage & inspiration of the team Coach, Robert Neville.
Brock paired with Michael, aka “Slick,” to claim the 2nd place trophy in a somewhat controversial finish. But in any case, they clearly placed 1st in the hearts of the numerous spectators and golf-afficionados on hand to watch their near magical ball-striking abilities.
Brock completed the day for Team Ben’s Creek by skillfully winning the highly contested Ball Drop against some of the toughest competition of the day.
Our good customer and friend, Ange Signature Homes, sent Russell Ange to team up with Ben’s Creek’s first son, Jack Neville. They came up just short of placing, but put on a tough, gutsy show of golf that was appreciated by all in attendance. Needless to say, Jill and Whit Horne were delighted to stand with them for this picture.
Speaking of young Whit, he kept his eye on the ball all day long and was a crowd favorite from the get-go. He is shown here with his proud grandmother, Treva Neville, and mother, Jill.
