Summer Blooms in Littleton

We check in today as we do each year on the status of the crape myrtles that line the streets of Littleton. These crapes were donated to and installed in the town of Littleton some 15 years ago by Ben’s Creek Nursery.

One word: Wow!

High temperatures bring out the best in most varieties of crape myrtles, and Littleton’s are no exception. Each year in the high heat of summer, the blooms seem to just explode into being. Click on any photo to get a closer look.

That’s South Main Street, wherein all the crapes are Tontos. We turn now to North Main Street, where we donated and installed no less than three cultivars, Tontos, Sioux, and Dwarf Acomas.

Littleton is in a renaissance of new shops and restaurants, a brewery, and entertainment venues like the Acorn Center. But “Old Littleton” has its charms too, as these beautiful crape myrtles demonstrate.

We can source and install crape myrtles, or any other plant, tree, or shrub you might need. Contact us!
